Damaged Garage Walls

I recently epoxy shielded my garage floor and it turned out great. Now I have another issue....... my garage walls. They look terrible compared to the floor now. My raised ranch was built 1956 and we live in New England. What can I do to help my walls out without completely tearing out the foundation.

What in the world is on those walls?
Sure looks like moldy sheetrock that also has some form of insected eating the paper on it.
It all needs to go and figure out what caused it.
Some pictures of the outside may show the real cause.

Im 99% sure that the walls consist of very poor concrete made back in the 60's and a very thin layer of plaster on top. You can see the small rocks which were mixed in with the concrete when it was poured. There is no sheetrock on these walls at all.

Still need to see a picture of the outside to try and figure out how mold got to be that bad.
Also go back and add your location to your profile, it really helps in a number of ways.

You need to resize your pic's before you post them, they are way to big,or shoot them in a lower resolution,so we can see them better.
