cutting a recess in concrete block wall
 

My first post here. I would like to cut a recess in a concrete block wall along with channels to run audio wires for my surround sound system which will be placed in PVC trunking. Will an angle grinder with concrete blade be able to handle this task. The recess has to be wide enough to accommodate a tv mount. Thanks for any tips and info

You can cut a groove out each side and knock out the middle with a hammer and chisel. Most electricians use chasing machines now though.

Thanks for the advice. The chasing machine looks to be very efficient but it much more expensive than my budget
