cutting into a brick wall to install a window..

So I've cut the tiles away in a central position in the downstairs kitchen.. There is an existing cavity wall behind the tile leading to the external brick wall.. The space for the window is directly through the double internal course of bricks supporting the main barer..!! As long as I put a lintel in can i get away with cutting the support course of bricks as well..??

cutting into a brick wall to install a window..

A picture from the inside and outside would help----Usually--yes---although cutting tends to be ugly--toothing in uncut bricks it the exposed edges is the proper way if the edges are exposed--

I'm not a mason--But I've had the work done several times and watched---
