crumbling top surface of driveway

My driveway is crumbling on the top and the aggragate is showing and loosening up in a 15x10 area. The low point in approx. 1-1/2" down. Since we lost everything in this recession and are basically rebuilding our lives, money is not falling off of our tree. What is the best way to patch this section. I live in Norhern Illinois.

Thanks
Andy

Post a picture. Is this a concrete driveway or asphalt? Are you looking for a cosmetic fix, or is there some sort of structural problem you are trying to correct?

Andy,

I would think about using some brick pavers on top of the entire thing.

Look around on Craigslist and the like and you'll likely be able to find enough to do the job on the cheap, unless it's a monster of a drive.

Abocrete could be a possibility.
