Concrete walkway grading problem

I recently had some concrete walkway poured but the grading along the side of the house is poor and shallow water is pooling against the foundation of the house. The garage slab is on the other side of this foundation, no basement. The contractor has cut seams to try and get it to drain but it's still pooling. What are my options here? I live in Calgary so freeze-thaw is likely going to make any filler options useless I'm guessing. Should I even be worried about this? Thanks for any advice.
