Concrete Steps Coating


Hi all,

I have some steps in my backyard that lead into my kitchen that I would like to paint with exterior concrete grade paint. My question is, based on the picture below, would I need to skim the steps with something to smooth it out? The steps look to be in bad shape.

i agree - they are in bad shape,,, repairs aren't going to be successful imho,,, patching's always an option tho
