You will have to form a key-way in the curb,which is nothing more than a square piece of wood or a shallow V piece.
You can use a polyurethane sealant to glue it down,on verticals you will have you add fasteners to help hold it until the poly sets.

I actually thought you were suggestign something like this this (in the first 2 pictures), as I think it's the best approach for new construction applications...........

Your right that stuff is great and would work too,but I was thinking about lateral movement and thinking about NOT using stickers,which again depends how high he is going with the wall after his first pour.
I am tired and not thinking we did a 100 yarder yesterday with a slick line and I had to help drag that freaking hose around ( defiantly NOT MY JOB).
