Hi guys, working outside today and I noticed that the new patio pad that we put in 2 yrs ago blocks the stucco wall weep screed line (the original weep screed line is buried 2 or 3 inches below the patio pad). Attached is the picture of my house side view. Here is the info for my house:
The new concrete patio is roughly 5-6 inches below the wood plate from the frame so inner wall at the bottom of the stucco wall is the foundation concrete (about 5 inches high- see picture)
The wall stucco is barely exposed to water because located under a walkout deck
My question is what can I do now without having to demolish the concrete patio. Can I make another weep screed line just above the concrete patio pad?
Will I have any issue with the current situation, can the water collect at the bottom of the patio and damage my wood plate and OSB sheathing which is rought 5-6 inches above the concrete pad?
Thanks
