Concrete patio

I have a concrete patio that needs to be redone, the top layer is crumbling and breaking up. I have been told that I need to redo. Does any one know how much roughly how much 12x24 4 inches deep. I am thinking of putting a wood deck instead because probably will be over 3000. At least for concrete.

Prices are dependent on location and vary greatly.

There is more to such a project than simply pouring concrete. Example: Demo, debris disposal, compacting, reinforcement materials, stamped finish? Colored finish? access to the site for delivered mix? etc, etc, etc.

Prices for subcontracted work are best determined by getting legitimate local contractors to submit written estimates (3 are suggested) and always checking references.
More Information here: "How much will it cost?" Asking for price estimates here.

Call 3 contractors to get a variety of quotes. I have no idea where you are from but here in my area of ohio the average rip and replace is around $5/sqft.
