Concrete Contractor Costs

Hi there,

I realize that this is a DIY forum but I'm trying to get a ballpark idea of what having 125 square feet of concrete poured in my back yard should cost me. I had 1 estimate done so far and they quoted me $10,300.

To do the same job in interlocking I got a quote for $2500. Seems like a big difference. Can anyone share any experiences?

The concrete work included all the work plus disposal of waste.

Thanks!

Friend... No one can even guess at a price... even if we wanted to... plus I douubt anyone even knows where interlocken is....

Personnally I think ya got a great quote if you're down in Antartica, and a terrible price if you are in the eastern plains of Colorado.

Get competitive quotes is your best bet.... but if it's a 4" slab and I don't need a helecopter dump, I'll bet there are 20 of us who'll beat that price.

Best

Peter

Interlocken??? Huh? :-)

Anyways - yeah I'm going to get more quotes. Nope - not filling a pool. Thanks for the feedback guys! I'm in the east end of Toronto so I figure I should be able to get a better price than that!

Cheers.
