Can I use concrete to repair a small brick wall

We have a small brick wall in front of our mobile home that corners around it for 3 feet. At the corners the wall is separating slightly. Was going to buy some mortar and a bag to fill in the cracks. However after our patio project have a half of bag of quickrete left over. Can I mix it up to fill in the gaps? The wall is purely cosmetic and in no way structural and once the gaps are filled in we will be painting the bricks.

I'd think one would deed to screen the rock out to have the slightest chance of being successful.

Was thinking the same type of thing and think the chance would be slim for it to hold up. Just trying to fill holes but concrete is not made to go vertical. Was trying to save money and use up what I had.

Can you post a picture?
Sure sounds like a poor footing that's failing.
Use mortar not concrete to fill gaps.
Mixing it up and applying with a mortar bag will make less mess. Looks like a pastry bag.

If you are going to paint it and the gaps are not big, I would use caulk. If it is not structurally sound nothing will stop it from cracking. It will be difficult to screen concrete mix.

The wall is there for looks only so we're not to concerned if it's structurally sound. Just wanted to fill in the gaps to make it look better. I think a tree root is causing the separation. Off to buy some mortar and a bag.

As Rob suggested caulking would probably be a better solution to fill those gaps. It would certainly be much easier to apply in would stick better to those already painted surfaces.

Yes, some backer rod and calk would flex some with future movement.

This stuff looks like mortar and is paintable when dry.

I'd get some metal on the backside of that corner, to keep it from moving further.
