building wood fireplace


I'm building new construction ranch in Aurora, Ohio and building a wood fireplace in a 3000 sq ft home. What is the recommended way of building chimney? brick liner or stainless steel? What is the recommended wood buring insert?

this is a diy forum - YOU're building it ? ? ? hire a mason is what most builders do & its recommended by most,,, i like stainless BUT its YOUR home,,, what does your wood stove manufacturer recommend ?
