Brick Chimney Tuck Point Question

Our brick chimney at the top needs tuck point. Is it okay to do the work in the winter or is it better to wait for the temperature to rise a bit? Thank you.

Brick Chimney Tuck Point Question

Professional masons have ways of doing it if it is really necessary, so you can call around and see how they handle it. If this is DIY and you aren't planning to drag a bunch of tarps and a heater up to your roof I would leave it til spring. You don't want freeze/thaw cycles to hurt your work before it sets up properly.
