Question for the experts?
I have a back patio with a roof covering it. It is 10' x 20 ' has 3 posts that sit on piers. I want to make this into all year round living space. Obviously I need to raise the edges of the slab but how do I go about it?
Do,I have to pour concrete over top of the existing slab and drill in holes to for rebar to go down into the existing slab?
D I use block to raise the slab do the siding/sheathing does not go down to the dirt?
Then the question would be, what happens to the interior? Drywall right over the block/new pour of concrete?
Give me some ideas please.
