Attaching 4" x 6" PT Wood to Concrete Curb

10" wide x 12" deep x 12' long concrete curb along the ground in the opening of where the main doors will be for a Horse Barn.

There is a gap of 4" between the curb and where the doors will slide by the curb. We are filling this gap with a piece of 4" x 6" PT Wood.

Looking to find the best way to attach the wood to the concrete.
Will be going through 4" of wood and into the curb on the side of the curb that is 10" thick....so, probably looking for a fastener about 8" or so (4" of wood and 4" into the concrete).
The front of the fastener will have to be countersunk into the wood as the doors will slide by on the wood and there can't be anything sticking out that will rub against the doors. This is a 12' span.

I want this to last "forever"...so, looking for quality fasteners and a good solution.

Thanks for the help.

Really need a picture.
If you want it to last forever then wood may not be the way to go.

Attaching 4" x 6" PT Wood to Concrete Curb

Until I can get a picture up, can you give me an idea of a strong fastener for this application?

The board is attaching to the face of the curb....4" of wood into the front face of the curb, which is 10" thick.

I will work on a picture.

Thanks
