3" holes in foundation

I have 4 of these 3" holes in my foundation walls. I do not know what they are for. One below the deck has a 3" corrugated plastic pipe that runs down it. I would like to seal them all up, but do not know what purpose they serve. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Interesting... Perhaps it was somebody's attempt to fix a drainage issue- do you have any water issues in your basement currently?

You mentioned that one hole has corrugated piping inside of it... Can you tell if the piping extends out past the foundation or not?

The piping does not extend past the house. These holes arejust slightly above grade and are basically evenly spaced through the entire wall of the home. The holes are also below the concrete floor in the basement from what I can tell.

For just one hole.....and above grade....I would speculate a dryer vent.....but 4 holes?

Some people do strange things....

Do you know the history of the house?

I was thinking an old sump pump outlet or something... But agreed... With that many holes, I'm not quite sure...

What area/terrain is the house in?
