12'x7' stone patio
Hello all. I am in the process of installing a stone patio in my backyard. So far I have dug up the area, tried to flatten it out(sloped away from house) with a tamper. I then put down filter fabric and began putting sand on top(I purchased and put down 500 lbs of fine sand). This looks to be about half of what I need.
I think I may have used the wrong sand. I think I need sand that is more course. Do you think it is smart to buy another 300-500 lbs of course sand and mix it with the fine sand that is already there? Or what should my next step be? Thanks for your time.
