I have been asked to "revive/rebuild" some solid wood muntins/grids that act as simulated divided light for a glass double door (see pics below). The sets on the exterior are shot due to weathering and/or adhesive has come off. The sets on the interior are fine and will not budge. The original builder attached them directly to the glass pane with what appears to be a "silicone-self-stick-roll" that was just cut to length. It is uniform in thickness. Imagine a clear, double-sided tape. The wood pieces are basic 3/4" wide x 1/2" thick stock.
Any experts out there that use a similar product or any other attachment method that would be effective and still look good? I would like to avoid the use of any "clips".
This is way after the fact, but thought that someone else might be in the same boat down the road. This product is fantastic for outdoor application. Only been 3 months, but, Oklahoma weather can throw a lot of curve balls.
