Winterizing Sunroom

I have a Sun room that is attached to the house, fully furnished and has 15 double pane windows and 4 skylights. My husband and I just put a new french door leading to outside last year. This room has electric heat and a propane fireplace stove while the rest of the house is heated with oil, this is the way we bought the house. Last year we ended up turning off the electric heat and started to just use the propane and a plug in electric fireplace because using the electric heat was sending my electric bill through the sky. The electric bill went down about 300 dollars by doing this but I still need to winterize due to draft coming through skylights and window. Last year we also used the plastic window insulation which helped a lot. This year I will probably do the same but this time I will also do the skylights which I did not do last year. The plastic insulation I used last year had double sided tape that on the instructions said do not use if frame is stained or varnished but I did anyway and it faded or took alot of the stain. Do you have any better suggestions for me to insulate this room?

Winterizing Sunroom

What is the construction type of the room?

What kind of windows are in there right now? If they are double paned existing, the issue with the lack of comfort is more likely a result of the air loss and leakage around the windows.

Some things can be repaired, some cannot.
