Window Wells & Grading

I want to install a window well but have a slope in my backyard. Is there anything I need to consider? Picture attached.

Nice picture.
However -
Can't see the back of the house - clearly.
Is there a window-well there, already?
Is this an escape/egress window?
Maybe show a pic of the window - that you want to add a window-well to.

Going to have to make sure the well is at least a couple of inches above the finished grade, or you'll have a pond.
Had issues with moisture under the house?

Here is a pic of the window I would like to enlarge and add window well. I would like to make it an egress window or definitely something a lot larger than it is.

I have not had any issues of water in the house but it does pool in the middle of the backyard a bit after an awful lot of rain.
