Window Size applicable for Shutters

I got a 1 level house , Outside wall of house to soffit is roughly 9' to 10'. Inside is about 8ft ceiling height.

1) Windows must have some sort of vertical rectangular shape to them.
2) Bedroom Window Size
3) Applicable for shutters to look decent on it. (Width of average shutters?)
4) Outside of house will be a blue slate overlapping fiber cement siding, outlined with white casings, white corners, soffit, fascia, gutter with a darker blue slate shutters.

Just using the dimmensions atm for a house layout program. So unsure of semi-close rough openings.

1) Measurements of a Rough Opening for a single hung new construction window (That is not to boxy shape)?

If I could walk down the road to the hardware store and not drive 45mins away I wouldn't be asking this.
