Is this window shot?

I noticed this Friday or Saturday morning when I got up. It appears to be getting progressively worse. That is moisture between the panes. It is a vinyl windows, about 9 years old. New window time?

You can just have the insulated glass unit replaced without replacing the whole window.

If you purchased the window new the unit could still be under warranty.

I misread.

So, would I call a window/glass company to fix this, or is it DIYable?

The window came with the house I bought 2 years ago, so if there was a warranty it probably wouldn't transfer. Plus, I have no paperwork of manufacturer/seller/installer info.

It could be DIY but I’d let them do it. It’s quick work with the right tools and supplies.

They’ll come out and measure it, order it, make sure you get the right glass with grids and install it.

If anything is wrong, it’s on them.

I agree with Ron. It is doable if you really want, but you won't pay much more to have them install it, and you can be sure that it won't leak, or break during installation, or something like that.

I agree with Ron as well. Have them come out and measure it, or, what I did with one of the double hungs in my shop the last time was remove the upper or lower sash, whichever one it was, boarded the opening, dropped the sash off, then picked it up when they were done, and reinstalled it.
