Window sealant

I just purchased 9 Simonton 50-50 vinyl windows to replace some ancient double hungs. I am heading to Lowes. Any recommendations on caulk to use between window and outside stop would be appreciated.

I use Alex 230 and never had any problems.

Sure do.
It's not the cheapest but it's a 50 year caulk.

Agree with Joe, it has some silicone in it that should help it stick to the vinyl. It is paintable also.

It's like most things, you get what you pay for.

I use quad on most everything except the interior due to the VOC's. They do have a water based interior caulk called H2U however that is very good... Solar seal, Vulkem, and Geocell are good as well, as would be pure silicone if this will be in an area that won't ever see paint.
