What is the door surround made of?

Before I start in on a few summer door projects (replacing jamb rot and installing a storm door). I need to know what the surround is made of.

Any ideas? It kinda looks like stucco to me, but I am not sure.

Looks like James Hardee trim. It's a royal pain to deal with.

Instead of a storm door concider just buying a better door.
Looks like just a cheap metal door.
A fiberglass door with adjustable sill, flat vinyl jambs and will seal better, never rot or need paint.
The adjustable sill will make up for any out of level area under the door.

I'm with Joe & Tom. If it isn't those, it is something similar. Tap on it. if it sounds like a crack then it is probably cement fiber. If it sounds like a softer thump it is probably a foam base.

What is the door surround made of?

Thanks for the comments. Knocking on the stuff gives me a hard but not hollow sound. Seems like a foam base absorbing the sound.

I was looking to instal the storm door as a compromise to allow light and spring/fall breezes with the added security of full door behind it. If it is foam in the center, I really don't have anything in which to anchor the door. Any thoughts on how I could install such a door (other than taking out the stucco and redoing the whole door frame)?
