Velux or Bristolite Skylights?

I'm getting ready to buy the skylight for the upstairs bathroom.

It's going to be a manual open type....my plans show Bristolite....but according to the Architect...I can use Velux if I want.

I have a Velux in the garage roof....well made. But I think Bristolite has a longer warranty.

I don't want to make the decision based on price alone....because, no matter how much is saved...if it fails early....any savings is quickly lost.

So which one do you guys suggest?

I've never heard of Bristolite either, but every one of my buddies in Denmark who needed skylights used Velux. One of my friends even put a remote contolled one in the roof of his garage.

We also put 8 of them in my parents house on the new 3rd floor back in 2008.

No problems.
