Tri state window factory & Royal window and Door

Anyone familiar with these two companies in NY? They manufacturer their own windows and have good ratings on Angie's List.

Just my personal opion, I would not trust anything posted on Angie's List.
A couple simple checks you can make on something like this is the BBB and just key word the company name and add the word complaints to the end of it.

To be honest I subscribed but going through the reviews I had a gut feeling that for one reason or another I could not trust these ratings.

LOL... to be honest, both A-list AND BBB take money from contractors while portraying themselves as "consumer advocates", but each still offers some value regardless.
Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with either of those options, but in NY, you should have access to the top vinyl options available including HiMark and Softlite.

This doesn't answer your question but I'd avoid windows with a plastic bumper on the top of the track. I open my bottom windows all the way and the plastic bumper popped out a couple of times and cracked and no replacements are available. The lock is plastic and it cracked too but still works. They were pretty new too. And I hate how the handles dig into my hands. They have to be shaped a certain way so you can maintain a grip when you pull them in for cleaning but they could have curled the edge or something.
