Tiling around a window?

In vinyl, not too much. You will get condensation and hardware rust because of the moisture. You don't normally see the window that low because it is not intended to keep out that interior moisture and water will get into that wall assembly.

That window needs to be tempered per code as well so make sure it is or you are replacing it with one that is. Look into obscure options as well.

What is more immediately pressing is if you are are using that window? It looks racked and out of square based on the reveal along the bottom.

Your going to get some mixed reviews on that question.
I just hate to see them in a shower, very prone to mold, wood rot and wall leaks.
Why would you want to see out or have someone looking in?
If you need the natural light remove the window, reframe, insulate and add a transome light at the top or install a solor tube in the ceiling if it's a one story house.

If your stuck on leaving it there then concider using acrilic block replacement windows and use all vinyl trim.
