Storm Door issue- see pics

I am planning to install a storm door but not sure how to do it. On the left side of my main door there are 3 sections of the trim which i have labelled in the pic (A,B,C), however on the right side I have only one section (C). Besides that the door handle also takes up lots of space. Any ideas?

I am also considering the possibility of installing a glass encloure in the front porch instead of the storm door right at where the main door is. You can see there is a overhang in a triangle shape. What do you call such an enclosure and where can i find it. Is it worth the extra cost?

im no expert, but ive seen my brother install a storm door on his front door

modern storm doors usually come with a frame and are built to standard sizes, find out which size would closely match this opening (not larger than) then you may need to add some wood pieces to get the frame to fit

what ends up happening, the storm door will be smaller than the main door

I think this will help you install the storm door, I got this ehow article when I tried installing a storm door to my grandmother's house.

Thanks guys,
DaveRacers, what i was wondering is if i need to add trim to the right side to create section 'B'.
thanks

Yes, from what I can see in the picture you need to build out the trim between the right side of the door and the sidelight to make a storm door work there.

The trim on both sides and the top need to be on the same plane.

The storm door frame will actually fit against section A. We discussed this same question some time ago on this board about a year ago.

Great! Now i cant decide btw a storm door or an enclosure just for the triangle overhead.

Figure out the height and all, and you can probably have a local glass shop make up the enclosure for you, then assemble on site.
