sticking slider

I live in SW Florida and have a corner slider. The shorter slider (12' long) opens fine but if I open it more than half way it is almost impossible to shut. At the halfway point I have to get a "running start" and most of the time it stops. It can take 6 - 10 tries to get it past this point. Once it is past there is no issue with shutting it completely. The sliders are positioned on the exterior wall which is non-load bearing. The tie beam is extended an additional 8' out ending at the lanai.

The sliders are essential screwed to a 2' walls that is secured to the trusses. Anyone have any suggestions?

sticking slider

First things to do would be to:
  • Check for square, plumb, and level
  • Look for debris in the track
  • Post up a picture
