Replacing a curb mounted skylight.

Hello All, I'm replacing a curb mounted skylight as it leaks a very small amount. I'd really appreciate advice on two point right now- 1) Is it most likely that the leak is occurring in the skylight itself, or by some problem in the curb. Is it likely I need to change the flashing? Our roof was recently redone but the roofer was pretty good. I was warned that the skylight is old, and has been caulked where it should not have been, but where that is I'm not sure. 2) Are the skylights available at big box hardware stores around here (southern Ontario) - columbia and velux specifically - any good? Should I find another brand of skylight. I am looking for a fixed skylight of about 2'x4'. I am unsure if I should get a bubble skylight or a flat tempered glass one. Thanks for any help here -Red Robin

No clue without a picture.
No not but a cheap bubble style!!!
Velex is a good brand.
Any box store, or local lumber yard will have or can get one.

I would replace the curb flashing's if they weren't redone with the last roof. Velux is good quality, and they have a plant right in Mississauga.
