Removing silicone caulking

I replaced my windows with new inserts and the old ones were in with silicone caulking. What is the best and easiest way to remove it so I can repaint the wood trim.

There is no easy way. I just takes time and you will need to sand the wood to get it all off.

Removing silicone caulking

Try acetone, that seems to work on some formulations.
