Remove individual window to install venting

So I am temporarily going to be operating our screen printing out of a location that I may or may not be in very long. So to not be so intrusive and to not put holes in the exterior walls I need to install some venting.

There is a window that is comprised of three separate pieces of glass. I would like to take the top on out and install a thick hardwood board with two 8 inch vent holes.

Now my problem is removing the window. Is this possible without damaging it?

if it operates you can just remove the sash,if not there may be screws in the sides that need to be removed,or a removable stop

Commercial or residential application? Any building codes or fire codes which might pertain; for your Insurance coverage..... what type of vents or are the windows inoperable?

The window is inoperable and it is in a commercial space. It will have two 8 inch dampers.

Here are the updated pictures, I can't seem to find what is holding it together.

If you can do it without damaging them, the glazing bead can be removed and a piece swapped out as you indicated.

Not sure this is a first time DIY effort but it can be done.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate it.

So are you thinking I would use a razor blade to remove the silicon? On the outside is a large vinyl frame. Do you think if I removed the inside piece frame piece I could have someone on the inside catch the glass as I push the window gently from the outside?

Enjoy the Superbowl!

Well I cracked the window trying to remove the glazing bead. Either way it has to be removed so...I had watched a youtube video on it but these wood pieces seem to be more difficult to remove. Is there silicon in there?

Usually they are wet glazed (i.e. silicon).

This is where the pro and right tools is critical. You can get the glass remade so make sure it is taped up and you use proper PPE.
