remove fixed pane slider
2 Attachment(s)
How do I take the fixed pane out?? I have remove the trim pieces, just not sure what to do next. Does not appear there are any fasteners holding it in place. What do the experts think?

allready lowered wheels, etc. Window will not lift out. Builders aluminum dual pane circa 1992.

It is probably screwed in through the back side of the frame

If it has the leveling wheels, you should be able to lift it out.
The older units did not have much clearance and you may need to pry the s*%t out of it.

Just want to make sure, are you are able to move the pane side to side or is it still locked into place.

Fixed pane is still locked in to place. I can not find any screws where it attached to frame.

Do I want to focus on prying up first or from behind.

I am assuming that the sliding pane needs to have the fixed pane remove in order to be taken out.

Not sure if it has leveling wheels, I unscrewed the wheels completely and they are no long visible.

The moving door always gets removed first and installed last----

If it is screwed through the back side of the frame, you would not be able to get to them. The frame side is against the wall, if that is the case then I would try to pry the frame away from the wall on the top and bottom, and try to break the screws from the frame.
