Quick question

So i need to replace the bottom sash on a vinyl double hung. the entire sash is broken, not just the glass. i took the sash out, but i cant find a label anywhere on the vinyl frame. how can i find a replacement? i rather not replace the whole window as it's only about 5yrs old. thanks. right now i just have a piece of plastic covering the opening so help is greatly appreciated.

Quick question

I'll take a stab at it and say that it's going to cost just as much to order and have shipped a bottom sash as it is to just put in a new unit. Maybe someone out there knows of a supplier, but without the mfr name, well, it's gonna be a shot in the dark guessing game.

i see. so you really need to know the manfacturer huh. i thought vinyl windows were fairly standard. i read that a sash only costs like $70. i am being quoted 400+ for one window. thats huge difference
