new low E windows

should argon filled lowE windows still ice up. I understand the condensation if there is high humidity in the house, but should I still expect ice to form. I should mention that it was -32 C outside.

Generally they shouldn't, however there are a bunch of things that factor into that. If it is that cold out and damp enough inside, it is certainly possible. Another factor could be if the window is leaking air, causing it to be colder. I've also seen windows mistakenly made with out the argon or low-e in some instances. It is pretty to easy to tell if it has low-e, not as much on the argon.

With those type of temps...anything is possible.

Check them for proper fitment and it might be worth reducing indoor humidity levels with the temps are that low.
