Nailed in magnetic weather stripping

I want to replace my magnetic door weather stripping but it is nailed into the jamb. How do I go about getting these nails out when they are flush with the surface? Using a prybar isn't an option because the raised section of the jamb is part of the entire jamb and will split. It seems anything I do will damage the wood and I obviously don't want that to happen but I need to replace the gasket. Any ideas?

You might be able to slip an oscillating saw blade in the kerf to cut the nails (perfect reason to buy a new tool).

Try a knife blade if these nails have heads. If this is a painted door, you can always fill the damaged areas and repaint.
Another option is to pull off the current gasket and pull the nails at the same time. If they all don't come out, the space under the nails when you pull off the gasket might give you enough room to pull the nails.
