Kwikset deadbolt removal

Have removed the 2 inch screws, but the inside and outside do not come apart. I can twist and turn them, but not pull apart. What am I missing??.

There may be a thin cover, try gently prying with a flathead screwdriver. If that does not work, please post photos to allow us to assist you better.

Took off the cover and unscrewed th long screws. This allowed the front and back of the lock to jiggle but not pull out of the door.

Wiggle the back side knob and pull at the same time, not both knobs. Should just pop out.
