Jalousie Windows

I have been searching for an answer on getting parts for jalousie/louvre windows. I am able to locate the crank box and torque bar holders, but cannot locate the old style torque bars anywhere.
If the torque bars are non-existant, can the new style cranks be installed, and if so, how difficult is it?

Jalousie Windows

These windows are obsolete and don't meet modern building codes. I doubt
that new parts are readily available. If you live near a large city check
in the yellow pages for building salvage or used building materials. There is
usually at least one company that dismantles buildings and sells the parts.
You might have some luck finding your cranks there.
Best of luck!
