Insulated metal window recommendations?

We're building a house and would like to know of recommended companies that offer insulated metal windows and doors (i.e. with thermal breaks). Western Window Systems is all I've found so far.

I don't have an answer, just a question---why are you limiting the choices to metal framed windows?

I only installed windows like that once--Peach Tree was the brand--2 years ago--customer is still very pleased but I don't consider 2 years long enough to judge the quality--I liked installing them, they were a solid well made unit.

My go to windows are Anderson---never a call back in 25 years---

I'm with Mike on this one. My last choise on windows and doors would be anything to do with steel.

Insulated metal window recommendations?

Thanks to all for the input. We're in Sedona, AZ, at 4600' elevation. My intent is not to limit ourselves to metal - we'd love to have wood/clad, and already have a couple of bids, but we have many windows and the cost is quite high. I'd just like to understand what our alternatives are for lower cost windows, but still with a decent U value. (Vinyl has never been a player for us, unless they are much better now, and have some choices in color.)

Western is an aluminum manufacturer out of Phoenix. They have done a number of projects in the Sedona area and have thermal break capabilities on most of their products. Check out www.westernwindowsystems.com for more information on the company.
