So we ordered a window for our Master, it's 72" tall and 60" wide. The window was framed in. However, we had the house bricked because we couldn't wait for the window which will take 6 weeks to get here. When it was bricked, they bricked over the exposed jack studs where the window fins are supposed to attach to.
Is there a way to install this window without having to use the fins since it's a new construction window with fins (Marvin brand)? Or, does it require cutting out the brand new brick that was just installed around the window opening and installing the window and then repairing the surrounding brick? Or should I try to revise the order before the window is made (we ordered it 2 weeks ago) and tell them to make it a replacement window instead of a new construction window so we won't have to use fins to install it?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
