Ideas on sliding door needed

In my basement I have a pool room. THere is no door to get in and out from the corridor. The opening is 80in wide by 78 high.
I want a door thick enough to block sound and want something with a nice look. I have a lot of wood in the pool room so I'd like to maybe build wood sliding doors.

Any ideas on what I can do? The opening is 78 high but if i hang it just outside the opening, the corridor's ceiling is 84

Should I do one big door? 2 or 3?

What kind of rails should I use?

Any door ideas I could build?

thanks for any idea you might have

I will respectfully disagree with Joe in this particular instance.

We currently use a SGD that has a 4 mil thickness glass that is like closing a vault door compared to other SGD. I have one in my office and you can't hear anything through it when closed and it appears (as unscientifically as possible) to block about as much sound as the walls (2x4 metal studs and drywall with no insulation).

We replaced a sliding glass door with a double French Door. Nice look, open or closed.

I would have to agree with WoW, although perhaps what Joe was referring to was a custom built diy door? .... It is unlikely that you'll be able to build anything that seals well enough to significantly block sound unless you have some serious skills.
