help with cutting frames

i purchased windows that were advertised 22x36 for my basement.
the r/o is 22.5 x 36.5, perfect right, i even bought some pvc brickmould to use against the cement if needed.
so i get them home unwrap them and measure them before putting them in the opening...
they measure 24x38.....
there is enough frame around them, is it ok if i cut them down on the table saw?
thanks

I see no way anyone could cut down a vinyl window and have it work.
Unless we can see what your seeing how would we know for sure?

I also have never paid extra for custom sized window, in fact and replacement window I've ever ordered is custom made.

I work mostly on 100 plus year house, almost never are all the window the same size.
They can be ordered any exact size you want.
