good place to get custom/odd windows?

I have an old round decorative wooden window that is leaking and rotting in the attic so it needs to be replaced. the rough opening between the framing around it is 21.5" x 22", any idea's on good places to get a reasonably priced replacement? I'd like to match it and it has a colonial grille. Bonus points for double pane low E etc. choices. I asked home depot and the best they could figure was over 1k.

Thanks.

Are you saying they said $1,000 for a window????

I'd make my own for free.... but then again, this IS a DIY forum....

Do you have pictures of this window?

You picture didn't post--------------

Have you tried a regular window and millwork place? A big box store typically only has a small selection-

look for a company that specializes in windows and doors. That price look very high.

Have you been up there to physically inspect it? It may be repairable/paintable?
It doesn't look that bad to me.

taken sideways, so the rotted out part is the bottom.

The wood doesn't even connect all the way. I'm sure I can, and if I can't find a reasonable replaced, I'm sure I will go up and scrap the paint off, get a wood epoxy fixer for boats and use it to shore up the window for a few more years, I just figured if I can get a better R value window I should and save myself the hassle of trying to fix this one since I think it's running past it's useful life and I want to stop the rot problem that could spread to structural parts.

thanks for the help

Your idea for a temporary fix makes the most sense. I'd go that route while I searched for a replacement that does not cost a thousand dollars!
