Faux windows

We are remodeling a 1960s home. We are working with the layout as best as possible. There is a blank space apx 25 feet with no windows. Behind that area are closets. I was thinking of putting windows on the outside to balance the house but these windows would not be seen on the inside. Any thought or other ideas?

Faux windows

I would not do it. Waste of money. There are plenty of homes with just one or two windows on a outside wall, with a large "white" space for the distance.

Ren: Now listen, Cadet. I've got a job for you. See this button? Ren: Don't touch it! It's the History Eraser button, you fool! Stimpy: So what'll happen? Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?

Faux windows

That would require a good bit of work to be done properly for just the aesthetic matching rationale.

At the end, it all depends on what costs you are willing to incur for that look but that is something that you must answer.

Faux windows

Instead of faux windows use landscaping instead.
