Exterior door trouble
Recently attempted to install a new prehung exterior door on a slate foundation. However it seems the slate is to uneven to get the door to hang correctly. Does anyone have any suggestions for leveling the floor without adding too much to the sill?

Welcome to the forum.
The short answer is...Return the door and buy one with a adjustable sill.

A picture would help here----there are many ways to shim the stone flat and fill the space with water proof caulk.
A diamond grinder might be called for --but we need to see the problem area.
