Good evening, I have a 1960's home and two of my 3 entry doors need to be replaced. However, these two doors don't exactly have a bottom sill to just slide the old out and a new prehung door back in. my question what do I do, I'd rather not wrestle with making a custom door myself. As they sit right now they close over a threshold which is adhesived and nailed thru engineered wood floors. Thank you for your time
Really need a picture after you get 5 post.
Something's very wrong if someone installed a threshold on top of the flooring. Flooring needed to be run up to the threshold not under it.
Even if it was done that way why can you not remove the threshold and just install a prehung?
