double pane windows

I had about 10 new milgard windows replaced with Vinyl. This morning I saw condensation on the outside of the window that had a pattern about 2 inches from the border of the window all the way around. It only appeared on 4 of the new vinyl windows. The condensation went away as the temp warmed up. Is this normal. It was not on the inside of the window nor the inside of the dual paynes

Nothing to worry about if it is on the outside. Between the glass panes is a problem that indicates the seal between the panes has failed and either the glass unit or the sash will have to be replaced(depends on manufacturer). Condensation on the inside often indicates too high interior humidity.

Welcome Bob, to the best darn DIY"r site on the web.

Condensation on the outside is not a problem, anywhere else, they need attention.
