Door Knob With Hidden Screw
How do I remove it? I've twisted the inside door knob's faceplate off and I can see the screws that hold the inside and the outside door knobs together but how do I get the faceplate off so I can put a screwdriver to them?
I've been reading up on it but I'm not getting anywhere. Thanks. |
you gotta take the knob off. theres sometimes a clip ring on it, allen screw, or there could be a cover on the end of the knob hiding a screw

look for a slot in the knob--if you have one--push a screw driver blade into it to release the spring.

I've looked but can't tell. Both you guys say the same thing that the articles do. Luckily I have channel locks and saw zawls. Ill get it off.
Thanks. |
Post a pic Doc, that would be real helpful.

I haven't taken it off yet but here it is. I tried to get a pic of the inside but not much room for visibility.
