Custom door OR custom frame?

Attachment 60538 Attachment 60540 The door is about 72 inches and needs replaced. I'm wandering would it be easier to get a custom door, or remodel the roof to a small porch like overhang so the frame could be a standard size.

I'm not sure what it's called , raising the roof line with a mini gable extension?
