Cleaning in between two panes of glass.

I posted a while back about my large sliding glass door getting broke. Well today the outside pane fell out. There are nasty white stains that I can now clean that was between the panes. What types of deposits are these and how can I go about cleaning them? The window is still doing it's job so I am not rushing to replace it at this moment. I just want to make it look nice for now if that is possible.

Sorry if the picture is dark. It was the best I could manage haha.

Try a reguler window cleaner first. If that don't work try this.

I thought the same thing. Calcium or maybe hard water from the moisture that seeped in all these years. Tried CLR and it didn't do anything.
